- Laughing Gas: Laughing gas doesn't induce sleep like general anaesthesia does. - Oral Sedation: One of the methods that we use to help relax patients during dental procedures is called oral sedation (also known as pill sedation). Although the pill can cause drowsiness, it is not potent enough to induce full-on sleep. While some individuals may become groggy enough to fall asleep, they can easily be roused by gentle shaking.

CPAP machines are the recommended and most effective treatment for sleep apnea, but some patients are not able to tolerate the noisy equipment and cumbersome apparatus that is worn during sleep. Our custom-made oral appliances resemble orthodontic retainers, offering a comfortable alternative for patients or as an additional treatment to be used in conjunction with CPAP therapy. Many patients opt to use an oral appliance while travelling to avoid transporting their CPAP machine. TMJ Treatment
