A Braeside Dental Centre mid year update

As you walk down the halls at Braeside Dental Centre, you will see the many familiar faces you have come to know over the years.  Recently, we have had some great additions to our exceptional team: Hina comes to us with a few years of experience as a dental assistant. She has a very friendly smile, a contagious laugh, and a wonderful ability to put our patients at ease.  Gillian joined our team in July and has just finished her dental assisting course this past June.  Gillian embodies the facets of kindness, sincerity and an enthusiasm to learn.  Anna, a face you have come to see over the past year, has accepted a full time position with our team.  She is a very skilled and knowledgeable hygienist who treats each and every one of our patients with exceptional care, gentleness, and expertise.  Tiffany, our greatly loved hygienist who has been on maternity leave over the past year, will be rejoining our team in January.  She is looking forward to reconnecting with so many of you and getting to know those patients who have joined our dental family over the last year.

September is a busy month at the clinic!

Dr. Goel and Dr. Jost have been busy over the past few weeks with study clubs, attending seminars on Sleep Apnea and Sedation so that they continuously update, refresh, and learn new techniques, bringing their very best to assist our patients.  We invite you to speak to anyone on the team regarding sleep apnea or sedation, as we are here to assist you and your loved ones.

Last weekend, we had our second annual Braeside Dental Centre Family Day hike and barbeque.  Our dental team and their families, including their pets, headed over to Fullerton Loop.  After a beautiful hike, enjoying all that Alberta has to offer, we had a barbeque.  Dr. Goel barbequed steaks and chicken and we all enjoyed a wonderful picnic.  The day was full of laughter, great food and shared memories.  It is always so wonderful to connect with the team and their loved ones.

Dr. Goel believes in empowering his team. So, on Friday of this week, our dental team will take part in a yearly CPR course to ensure that we are always up to date with our skills and equipped to assist in the event of an emergency (either at work or in our personal lives).

Next weekend, we also have our Dental Family Day! Dr. Goel is dedicated to looking after the dental needs of his team and their families.   He sets aside two days a year wherein families can come in and get their dental work and hygiene done by the team.  We come together and chip in (all in many different ways) to ensure a successful day.  The day is full of little ones running up and down the halls, families connecting, sharing food, and keeping up with our health.
September really has been a busy month full of health, refreshing skills, and bonding as a team.

We look forward to seeing you all soon.
